Image
The 2026 Formula 1 season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting championship battles in recent memory. Mercedes have emerged as the benchmark team, Kimi Antonelli has established himself as the current Drivers' Championship leader, Max Verstappen continues to keep Red Bull firmly in the fight, and Ferrari are gradually finding the consistency they have been searching for all season. Right in the middle of that battle is Lewis. After enduring a challenging first campaign with Ferrari in 2025, many questioned whether the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion would ever challenge for another title. Critics believed his best years were behind him, while others wondered if the move to Ferrari had come too late. Lewis has answered those doubts in the best possible way. A breakthrough victory in Barcelona, multiple podium finishes, and consistently strong performances have firmly placed him back among Formula 1's elite. As the championship battle heads into the second half of th...

LEWIS HAMILTON IS BACK ON THE HUNT: TOTO WOLFF WARNS F1 AS FERRARI TITLE DREAM IGNITES

Image
For more than a year, Formula 1 fans have debated whether Lewis could truly succeed at Ferrari. The move from Mercedes to the most famous team in motorsport was one of the biggest stories in F1 history, but the journey was far from smooth. There were difficult weekends, frustrating results, and moments where even Lewis himself openly questioned whether he could return to the very top. The seven-time Formula 1 World Champion endured a challenging first season with Ferrari, and there were times when the dream of winning races in red felt further away than many fans expected. But Formula 1 has a funny way of changing narratives very quickly. One victory can completely transform the mood around a driver, a team, and an entire championship campaign. That is exactly what happened at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, where Lewis finally delivered his first Grand Prix victory for Ferrari. It was a result that sent shockwaves through the Formula 1 paddock. More importantly, it remind...

TOTO WOLFF BACKS LEWIS HAMILTON AFTER HUNGARIAN GP STRUGGLES

Toto Wolff, the man who stood by Lewis through years of triumph and heartbreak, has once again stepped in to defend the seven-time World Champion. After an emotionally charged weekend at the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix, where Lewis qualified a disappointing P12 and finished outside the points, Wolff has reminded the F1 world exactly who Lewis is — and what he still represents. Lewis Hamilton’s Raw Emotions In Hungary Lewis didn't hold back after a difficult qualifying session at the Hungaroring. With Charles Leclerc storming to pole, Lewis was eliminated in Q2 by just 0.016s. Frustrated and disappointed, he told Sky F1, “I’m useless… They probably need to change the driver.” It was a heartbreaking admission from a driver who’s always worn his heart on his sleeve. The race didn’t go any better. Starting on hard tyres, Lewis lost two places on the opening lap and spent most of his Sunday trapped in a frustrating DRS train. Finishing P12, while his Ferrari teammate brought home more sol...

MERCEDES HAVE DONE WHAT THEY CAN

Image
Toto Wolff has reiterated that Mercedes will go into the FIA Tribunal hearing into their controversial Barcelona tyre test later this week ready to make the case that they have done nothing wrong. Both the Brackley-based team and tyre supplier Pirelli are to face charges over their so-called 'secret' three-day test when the International Tribunal convenes to hear the case in Paris on Thursday, with both parties having welcomed the hearing in order to put their respective sides of the story across. "We have prepared our documents, we can do no more," Wolff told Germany's Welt am Sonntag newspaper. Read more..

GOINGS ON AT MERCEDES

Image
There have been a flurry of activities at Mercedes lately, an attempt to prop up the team as they have had a pretty bad 3 years since coming back as The Silver Arrows. One win and a couple of podiums is nothing to shout about with Ross Brawn at the top and Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher as drivers. Norbert Haug has been thrown out as Mercedes sets about to fix its problems. Next they have brought in 3 time F1 world champion Niki Lauda as non-executive chairman. He has organised the signing of Lewis Hamilton from McLaren to replace Schumacher. Then they convinced Toto Wolff to move from Williams taking an executive director role at Mercedes. To top it all off, now the rumours is that they are trying to get McLaren's technical director Paddy Lowe over as well. Quite a bit of high ranking people assembled there, even Avengers like. A lot of people have a lot of different opinions about this, I'm still confused as I'm not really sure of Mercedes' plans. Who ...
