McLaren are set to introduce new updates for the MP4-23 over the course of the final three races as the team bids to bag the Championship double.
With three races to go McLaren are leading both title races with Lewis Hamilton seven points ahead of Felipe Massa in the Drivers' Championship and McLaren one point in front of Ferrari in the teams' battle.
Determined to be at the front when it most matters - after the final race of the season in Brazil - McLaren have revealed they will be introducing more upgrades for the MP4-23 despite the team have initially planned to stop developing the car after Singapore.
"Ordinarily, the Singapore weekend would have been our last big upgrade package of the season," said McLaren CEO Martin Whitmarsh.
"But we've now got an upgrade package focused on Brazil, and will be looking to see whether we can pull any of those improvements forwards.
"There will still be little bits and pieces brought to the car for the two Asian races, but the package of upgrades won't be as big as the one we brought to Singapore."
