LEWIS HAMILTON DEMANDS MORE FROM FERRARI AS F1 2026 TITLE FIGHT INTENSIFIES

Image
Formula 1 is relentless. It doesn’t wait. It doesn’t forgive. And in F1 2026, it’s exposing every weakness, every missed opportunity, and every gap in performance. Right now, Lewis finds himself in a familiar but uncomfortable position—close enough to fight, but not quite close enough to win consistently. After the Miami Grand Prix, the picture is clear. Lewis is level in the standings with Lando Norris, but the real target sits further ahead. Kimi Antonelli is leading the championship, and Ferrari are chasing. For Lewis, that’s not good enough. Not yet. Because if there’s one thing we know about him in Formula 1, it’s this—he doesn’t race to participate. He races to win. A Season Of Mixed Momentum For Lewis And Ferrari The F1 2026 season has been a strange mix of promise and frustration for Lewis and Ferrari. There have been flashes of real pace, moments where everything clicks, and glimpses of a car capable of fighting at the very front. But there have also been weekend...

WHERE DO YOU FIT IN F1?

Image
A standard dream of any F1 fan is to be able to work in F1 itself or around it. Imagine being able to earn money while doing something that is directly or indirectly involved in the best and most exciting sport on the planet. I have had that pleasure between 2000 and 2009 when I was involved in supplying F1 simulators to sponsors of F1 such as TAG-Heuer, Mercedes and many more. It was a simulator designed and built by me and my friends which ran an F1 game. It was half a F1 car and we lugged it around the world. Even though it was not a direct job inside F1, it was still enormously satisfying being able to go to different cities and sharing my excitement of the F1 world with many people. Here is a photo of the simulator. Now, it is not that easy to get yourself involved in F1 but what if you could? What would your current skill set do for your F1 career? How would you fit into F1? Well Williams F1 Team and Randstad have an app that could size you up and tell you where and how yo...

SO YOU WANT TO OWN AN F1 CAR?

Image
Yeah me too! Of course any right minded F1 fan would want an F1 car. We could take it to the track on weekends, do all the prep with our team and tear up the track for 2 hours. That is F1 fan nirvana. But the reality is the closest most of us get to F1 is on the tube on Sundays and maybe at race weekends when we can afford it. But that doesn't mean we stop at the tube. We still will immediately turn and walk towards the slightest sound of an F1 car that we hear at a show or shopping mall or wherever we may be. So below I have reproduced an article written by Tom Castellani on F1Technical.net.  The article is a bit old and some of the links are dead, so I have had to make modifications to it. Hopefully everybody who reads this will benefit in one way or another. Enjoy! Formula One soaks up millions each year, with some of the most technically advanced racing cars on the planet many fans can only dream of ever driving or even owning an F1 car. Much of the money...

F1 2010 THE GAME

Image
Finally!!!! The new complete season, realistic simulation of Formula One is almost here. F1 2010 will be released this year in September by Codemasters for the XBOX 360, PS3 and PC platforms. The game will be launched before the Korean GP, which means all the tracks will be ready. I wonder how they will simulate that track without seeing it. This is how Codemasters describes the game: In “F1 2010″ gamers will take on the full, expanded grid in a variety of game modes including Grand Prix, Championship, Time Trial and an extensive, innovative Career mode. “F1 2010″ will also feature a highly advanced damage model, fully dynamic weather system and extensive competitive multiplayer options. In production at Codemasters Studios Birmingham, “F1 2010″ is being developed using the EGO Game Technology Platform, Codemasters’ proprietary tech that powered the critically acclaimed, million-plus selling “Colin McRae: Dirt 2″ and “Race Driver: Grid”. The award-winning technology has been f...

The virtual F1 car

Image
Re-produced from ESPN . With testing in Formula One now strictly limited, much of the preparation for the new season is done behind the wheel of multi-million pound simulators. A computer game so advanced that it can actually replicate every movement of the car, the only snag is it costs £125,000. These state-of-the-art machines are not only used to develop driver skills but also allow the engineers to achieve the perfect set-up. The simulator can run full race distances, allowing the teams to tweak every tiny variable. Most of us mere mortals have to settle for arcade or home computer games to feed our need for speed. The trouble is they simply don't get close to a real race experience. But now there are is new breed of simulators, although still too expensive for home use, can offer the ultimate race experience. You can feel the wheel vibrate as you try and ride the curbs, the G-forces as you brake, and the back end slip away as you accelerate too quickly out o...

F1 SIMULATORS FOR TESTING

Image
I love simulators especially driving simulators. From the ones that we provide for promotions and entertainment to serious ones for F1 testing, they are a great tool for serious work and fun. Hexatech from Cruden is a really serious simulator and I wouldn't mind having one in my living room. Keith from F1 Fanatic had the rare opportunity to test one, read his report about it here . To Keith, I need a job with you so I could travel and test this kind of things.

Looking for the ultimate F1 gaming experience?

Image
12/11/2009 Never mind buying F1 cars off Ebay, race fans with a little bit of dosh can now buy the exact same equipment used by top racing drivers and engineers to improve their race craft and evaluate new tracks and car settings. Cruden B.V. - the world's leading designer and manufacturer of interactive motion-based racing simulators - is offering its new racing simulator as an extreme alternative to popular home gaming equipment for affluent motorsport and performance driving enthusiasts. The Hexatech - a professional full motion simulator with six 'degrees of freedom' (6DOF), realistic g-Force simulation up to multiple g's, seat belt tensioners and 100 per...

IT'S THE CAR, STUPID!

Image
I'm going to attempt to explain one of the most intriguing and least understood aspects of F1 racing, which some people may understand, some will not and some others don't care. I'm not very technically adept nor have I been watching F1 for 20 years. I am very interested in the goings on in F1 and try my best to read up on any material that I can get my hands on, plus I try to have discussions with like minded people as much as possible. There have been many arguments lately about drivers and their ability to drive a modern F1 car to the limit and perform seemingly incredible and heroic feats on the track. So much so that fans of certain drivers or teams have become fanatics who cannot see any wrong in their heroes no matter what. They also always see wrong in other drivers and teams and always find excuses to run them down. I have been following F1 since the Senna days but only started being a fanatic the season before Lewis Hamilton joined i.e. 2006. That's because I ...

WELCOME ALL

MY FIRST POST Welcome all to my blog about motorsports and Formula 1. My name is Alvin and I'm from Malaysia. I'm totally nuts about cars and naturally motorsports is right up my alley. I love rallying and used to watch it all the time. I used to not like F1 because I thought it was easy compared to rallying. In F1 they just go round the same circuit layout over and over again. I mean, how difficult can it be, right? Compared to rallying where the circuit is always different and they don't get a chance to test the circuit. Boy, was I wrong! I got involved in a company here doing Formula 1 simulators for events and since then I fully understood the intricacies of F1 where even a slight change to the car or track makes a difference. The simulators are half a formula 1 car and run EA Sports F1 Challenge which is extremely realistic containing all the cars, tracks, teams and physics of F1. You wouldn't believe the accuracy and level of detail simulated in the game. We start...
