Unsurprisingly, the three teams whose rear diffusers have caused a storm in recent weeks dominated the fastest lap times during the Malaysian Grand Prix.
Drivers from Brawn GP, Toyota and Williams occupy the first four places for the best lap times during the rain-shorted race at the Sepang circuit. All the best times were set between laps 9 and 19 - just before the teams started scrambling to get their drivers on wet tyres.
Race winner Jenson Button's time of 1:36.641 was the quickest of the afternoon. His Brawn GP team-mate Rubens Barrichello's best effort was 0.843 off that time.
Toyota's Jarno Trulli just snuck in at No 3 as he was just seven thousands of a second quicker than Williams' Nico Rosberg.
The Red Bulls of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel were the best of the other teams, setting the fifth and sixth best times respectively.
It was once again a tough day at the office for Formula One's traditional powerhouses Ferrari and McLaren. Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari only managed the seventh fastest time while McLaren's Lewis Hamilton was 11th quickest - or eighth slowest of the cars with registered times, if like.
