ABU DHABI GP DRS ZONES

This year as in last year, the Abu Dhabi GP will have 2 DRS zones, the first one with detection between turns 6 and 7, the activation zone down the straight between turn 7 and 8. The second detection zone is just after turn 9 and activation shortly afterwards.

As in India, an extra 80 metres has been added to the first zone. Drivers will be able to activate DRS for the first time 390m after the first hairpin.

Hmm, 3 weeks is a long time in F1, no? After waiting 4 months for action, we got 4 races then suddenly all quiet. Seems like 3 weeks is longer than 4 months.
